Since there was only 1 point in it, I would like a recount.    No bugger the points who got the most pole picks, hang on who had the most round winners with 8th place that would have to be hard to get, yeh do that one.

OK i missed it by 2 points.    but   

this is the first time i have ever had a go at any tipping comp, i found that now instead of just yelling at the holden drivers in general, i also have to send some words for drivers falling of the track and wrecking my results for here.

It was only towards the end I figured to tip the most likely results, not who I wanted to win

Yeah, I even tried to make the result more interesting because I put my tips in after you for Oran Park, and decided to keep with the spirit of a tipping competition and kept to my own ideas, rather than simply putting in the exact same tips as you did as I was one point ahead at the time, would have decided the competition before practice started at Oran Park.

First time I've gone in for these tipping comps, so I thought I'd have a go at this one, but the thing I learnt at the start was not to tip your favourites all the time.   Now that I've said that I've guaranteed I won't win next year !!

I only know the names of a handful of V8 drivers without looking them up.... the worrying thing is that I did far better in the V8 tipping than I did in my supposed area of strength in F1.

Thanks to Louie Muzza and any others involved in running the comp.  I think with a good beer budget and some off season testing I might be a force to be reckoned with for next year..... certainly looking to step up from the occassional podium...

yeh BP i picked up on that (not paranoid), at the start of the year i was in the process of picking my next driver to follow with the retirement of JB last year. i had will, mark and jamie as a short list and decided to jump back on the DJR camp again and ran with will(if at holden next year that ended that), it's just a thing i have always had problems with supporting people that have the best toys to play with, for me it limits their development throughout their time as a racer. so i was backing will a fair bit and putting a few fords up there that i shouldn't have.  i guess that just rid of my excuses for next year.

No problem at all guys glad to do it, thanks to lou for setting it up & Bumble for the help with the scoring...

As for the tipping.......... well i had a shocker, only because i picked the same 8 all year (just changed the order every round) all  drivers and we know how well they went this year. I pick with my heart not my head even though i new most of the times we were going to get scratch..

Anyway a good year, congrats the the front runners and hope to see all back again next year..

For someone who knows nothing about V8 racing I don't think 7th is to bad, that is if you shuffle OT 240 pts and Idb 238 pts below me in the standings.

Big thanks to Muzza for picking up the ball and running with it for the remainder of the season. I look forward to doing it all again next season, who knows I might even know who a few of the drivers actually are next year.
