25 people put in their tips this week. Here is how they chose their top 3.

What does a scanner see? I mean, really see? Into the head? Down into the heart? Does it see into me--into us--clearly or darkly? I hope it does, see clearly, because I can't any longer these days see into myself.

All selected drivers are listed. So for Heidfeld, he was selected once out of 25 tipsters for 2nd, and didn't receive a single tip for 3rd.

Bumble i sent you an email on friday before prac 1 and 2 even started explaining why i didnt put my tips in before the dead line!
Reason being is that i was out all week and got back late friday night!
My message also included my tips for the round and should be accepted as i sent the message to you before the weekend even started, so i had no chance of cheating.

My tips were.....

3.Kimi
4.Heikki
5.Kubica
6.Alonso
7.Heidfeld
8.Webber

Not trying to be the devil BMM, but the deadline is actually 10.00pm Thursday night, you said you sent the email on friday before prac 1 and 2, tis a bit more than 5 min :blink:

The deadline for tips will be 22:00 server time on the Thursday of each GP weekend, tips after this time will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Races

If you miss the deadline of forget to make your picks you will not be awarded any points for that round

Sorry mate, tis the same for all of us. I noticed wise old Yoda, who was just behind me on points I think for the British GP, did not get his tips in and therefore got 0 for that round, and did not see a post by him asking for leanience, same for all of us mate. :hmm:

Ok lets clear this up as I don't want this to turn in to a war.

You actually sent me the message about the tips on Friday 18th @ 15:59 some 18 hours after the deadline had expired. Had it been a few minutes after I would have put that down to a timing issue and put them through.

I post the upcoming GP's 2 weeks in advance giving everyone enough time to put their tips in should something arise where the person is not be able to get to their computer.

Yeah mate i understand all is good, i just didn't realise that the deadline was on Thursday i thought it was friday for some reason.
But yeah i still think its a bit strict for a simple game of tipping tho but rules are rules i guess.

Can I just have these tips for the rest of the year, please:

1) Whoever the FIA want to win
2) The guy who actually ran 3rd (anybody but Nick, again-Max doesn't want to be seen as liking German speakers ;) )
3) Mark Webber (it pays to be on board with the GPDA)
4-8) The actual 2nd place-getter, one Seb or another, some dude who drives a Williams, Trulli, and oh, WHO CARES?!

DISQUALIFIED:
Hamilton (because he stubbed his toe in May and is hence "unfit to race" the rest of the season)
Bob (for referring to Bernie as "the little man who runs sport")
Sutil (he's German and he plays piano, which is clearly bad for F1's image)
