Welcome to the 2009 AMF – AFL Tipping Competition.
This season will feature a two part competition with the main part a standard tipping comp and the minor part will feature the tipping margin comp which was trialed in last years final series.
The rules for the main competition are1 - Point for each correct tip
1 - Bonus point if you tip all 8
1 - Bonus point if you are closest to the winning margin for the nominated game from each round (usually the Friday night game)
2 - Bonus points if you tip a draw.
Missed rounds will get equal to the worst score for the round.
Three consecutive missed rounds will result in disqualification.
New members can join anytime during the year but they will start with equal lowest score.
The rules for the minor competition areNominate 1 game from each round a team and winning margin (can be the same team and margin you tipped in the main comp).
AFL finals will be included and
all games will require margin tips.
This competition is optional, however since tipping the margin is apart of the major competition, you will automatically be included into this competition.

Losing Team |
|
|
The table works by aligning the 20 points with the actual winning margin, your points is relative to your tipped margin
i.e. If the winning team wins by 21-30 and you tipped them to win by 1-10 you will get 13 points.
Also you will still gain points if your tipped team loses.
i.e. If the winning team wins by 21-30 and you tipped the losing team to win by 31-40, you will get 1 point.
All Tipping will close 1 hour prior to the start of the first game of each round.
