No problem, I'm glad so many people are jumping on board again this year.

Thanks Matt,

Ecurrie Geriatric has opted for an all Brazilian driver line up for the sason start but has spread it's tecnical options over Japanese and Italian suppliers. I have a feeling the team will be looking to make some modifications to the lineup by the time racing returns to Europe awhen factors like full use of KERS and the acceptance of diffuser design variation will become more relevant.

I thought you may have opted for the "more experienced" (old) driver OT  ;) ;) ;)

After the successful season last year PEARCE SONY F1 RACING TEAM has again partnered with Mclaren and Mercedes with one major change, gone are Mark Webber and Fernando Alonso being replaced by Lewis Hamilton and Sebastain Vettel.
When asked about the driver changes while still keeping the relationship with Mclaren and Mercedes, Team owner Dazza Pearce simply said.

I'm spending a lot of money this year and i expect to win the Championship with my two new drivers, that being said i wish Mark and Fernando all the best for this year and we still remain friends.
But at the end off the day I'm now in a better position to win the Drivers and Constructors Championship this year by having last year's championship winner and his most likely successor driving my car this year!

So all that's left now is for that first race in Melbourne to see whether the PEARCE SONY F1 RACING TEAM is a contender for the Championship this year, or a mid pack team.

SANDGROPER RACING RETURN TO TRACK

Perth based fantasy team Sandgroper Racing has returned to the motorsport world after two years away from the starting grid. The team that so nearly won the RPM Forum V8 Sportal Dreamteam league is proud to announce that they are moving codes to Formula 1 for the upcoming season and are taking on a conservative approach.

The team has chosen former two time F1 World Drivers Champion Fernando Alonso to skipper the team, with the Spaniard's home GP at Catalunya the Bonus Round. Joining Alonso is young gun Sebastian Vettel, who while steering for winless Red Bull Racing will come into the '09 season with huge expectations.

Sandgroper Racing will be using the brand new Mclaren MP4-24 chassis with the strong Ferrari powerplant for a good coverage of the top point scorers. They will be looking to score in the top 10 with the Hard Tyre compound.

While the team has covered the main points getters from last year, there is one large floor that could prove the achillies heal of the West Aussie squad, the impressive power of BMW Sauber. With many other teams favouring Robert Kubica and BMW chassis and engines, many points early in the season could be kept out of reach of Sandgroper Racing.

With testing complete and everything in place, it's all to play for come the first round of the season in Melbourne.

:P just a bit of fun  :checkerflag:

We run these competitions in our spare time, so I'm guessing maybe Matt has other things to do. Be patient all good things come to those who wait.

Something along these lines. I don't want to blame it all on 9/11 but it certainly didn't help.
