EB's Team PistonBroke has remained at the top of the championship standings despite a bit of a poor round and a decision to not make any budget cuts to his team. Despite a pretty good result, the BernieTax scheme demands excellence from top components and Barrichello's scrappy weekend has left the team a little vulnerable. Of course his strategy may be to ride out Brawns price hike and wait for the field to come closer together, either way it will be a fascinating few rounds to see if he will hold into his championship lead, much like Button on real life!

Team owner Jiji the cat, of Kitty Litter Crappers decided that discretion was the better part of valor and took a pay cut to get his team under budget and has done well in doing so. Pole vaulting himself up into second place in the standings.

Doineedthis has changes pending but wasn't registered in time for this race, nevertheless he's still in a good position moving forward despite three rounds of sub 100pt finishes.

Team Baltar's move of Kimi to Hamilton has paid off in the short run, netting the team its first win of the season. Will that decision still be favorable when Ferrari brings its lighter chassis and new diffuser next week? Will Hamilton even be on the grid the next two races?

Izzystero, Madmaper and Engineer were singing in the rain in China, but had considerably weaker races in the desert and have dropped down the order a bit.

Dazza, the chad and mad bomber each continued to show much better form than earlier in the season. In spite of the trading period, IBD77 was unable to make much of an impression at the scores table this week, but I'm sure things will pick up moving forward.

What does a scanner see? I mean, really see? Into the head? Down into the heart? Does it see into me--into us--clearly or darkly? I hope it does, see clearly, because I can't any longer these days see into myself.
