Aussie Steve Harker was beaten in the 3rd round  of Top Alcohol Funny Car

(W) Frank Manzo (Lucas Oil Monte Carlo)           0.046      5.611  @ 260.81mph
(L) Steve Harker (OMS Graphics Monte Carlo)     0.070      5.603  @ 257.68mph

Harker comes into this match-up with lane choice, Manzo is 8 and 0 against Harker, and he will now go to 9 - 0 against Harker. Manzo gets away first, but Harker has big horsepower, he was out front all the way until the finish line. When Manzo was able to take the win, by a hole shot win.
Frank Manzo's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.005), 330 ft(-0.010), 660ft(-0.002), 1,000ft(0.006). MOV: 0.0166 seconds (approximately 6 feet).

And the final of Top Alcohol Funny Car was won by

W) Frank Manzo      0.035      5.593 @ 261.42mph
L) Marc White        0.030      5.639  @ 258.91mph

White is 1 of 4 drivers to beat Manzo in past 9 years. Manzo is 5 - 1 all time against White, but only 2 - 1 in final rounds. Manzo  has 77 Nationals event wins.
White is better on the tree, but Manzo had already pulled up along side of White by 60ft. From that point Manzo just pulled away to take win #78.

Pro Stock Motorcycle
(W) Steve Johnson (Snap-On Tools Suzuki)            0.017      7.029 @ 191.46mph
(L) Eddie Krawiec (Screamin' Eagle/Vance & Hine    -0.002(R)  6.974 @ 192.91 mph

Johnson and Krawiec have each won 2 times against the other in prior events and this is the first time they have faced each other in a final round, Johnson is 4 - 13 in final rounds, but won in the last race back at Indy, Krawiec is looking for his first ever win. Krawiec is red and Johnson will go back to back wins for the first time in his career. Johnson will now go to 2nd in points. At the top end Johnson was so excited that he forgot to stop the motorcycle and he puts the bike into the sand trap, but he is ok.

A close race from round 3

 (W) Eddie Krawiec (Screamin' Eagle/Vance & Hine   0.015      7.016 @ 191.21mph
 (L) Angelle Sampey (Rush Racing Products Buell)    0.003      7.039 @ 187.57mph

Eddie Krawiec's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.006), 330 ft(-0.012), 660ft(-0.012), 1,000ft(-0.006). MOV: 0.0118 seconds (approximately 3 feet).

Pro Stock Car
(W) Justin Humphreys (RaceRedi Motorsports GXP) 0.726     19.849 @ 42.40mph
(L) Kurt Johnson        (AC Delco Cobalt)              -9.999(R) NT-Broke Before Staging

Johnson was able to get his car to fire and then the team pushes the car and it fires, but the NHRA officals shut him off because the car has to start under its own power.  So Humpreys will get his first Pro Stock National event win in his second final round. He will become the 51st driver to win a Pro Stock Wally. Humpheys' car breaks right off the starting line and he coast to win. Johnson will still leave with the point lead.

Funny Car
 (W) Jack Beckman (Valvoline/MTS Charger)        0.090      4.130 @ 302.82mph
 (L) Cruz Pedregon (Advance Auto Parts Solara)   0.059      4.162 @ 302.08mph

Pedregon is looking for his first win of the year as he has not won a race in 2 seasons, one the high aspects of this weekend is Cruz will leave zMax Dragway with the points lead no matter what the results are in the final round.

Cruz is better on the light, Cruz is out in front at the 1/8th mile, but Beckman comes trucking from behind to drive around Pedregon right at the finish-line. Beckman moves into 2nd in points with the win. Jack Beckman's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.011), 330 ft(-0.004), 660ft(0.001) MOV: 0.0018 seconds (approximately 10 inches

Top Fuel Dragster
(W) Tony Schumacher (U.S. Army Dragster)        0.048      3.882 @ 317.64mph
(L) Antron Brown (Matco Dragster)                   0.053      3.923  @ 309.42mph

Schumacher is 4 - 1 against Brown in prior events and each has won one time against the other in final rounds. Schumacher is out of the gate first, but Brown had the lead as they went by the Christmas Tree, but after that it was all Schumacher for the win by 0.0465 seconds (approximately 21 feet). Tony Schumacher's incremental times: 60ft-0.883 sec., 330ft-2.201, 660ft-3.117/277.83mph. This is his 53rd National event and he now has the most National event wins in the Top Fuel category. He has won seven events in a row and 28 consecutive rounds, which are both records. He has won 12 race this year, which is a record for wins in one season in Top Fuel, in 14 final rounds this year, which ties Dixon's record for most Top Fuel final rounds.

Dave  Grubnic lost in the first round

(W) Tony Schumacher (U.S. Army Dragster)        0.067      3.873 @ 315.93mph
(L) David Grubnic (DHL Dragster)                       0.082      4.423 @ 291.57mph
