(L) Ashley Force (Castrol GTX Mustang) (0.080) 4.183 @ 294.18mph
The last number one qualifier to win this event was Whit bazemore in '03. There has only been one winner from the bottom half of the field at this event. Force qualified number one, Wilkerson in the bottom half of the field in the eleventh spot.
Wilkerson has a 67 point lead over Beckman in the countdown. Force is in fifth but could tie Beckman for second with a win here. They leave the line together, then Wilkerson gets a small lead at the 60 foot mark. He extends it a little at the 330, then Force starts to gain ground. Force starts moving around about 800 feet out, the rear of the car fish-tailing until she crossed the finish line.
Wilkerson hangs on to take the win and extend his point lead to 87 over second place Jack Beckman.
Wilkerson puts oil out at the end of the run and is docked 15 points to make his lead 72 over Beckman.
Wilkerson took out 3 of the 4 John Force Racing Cars on his way to the event win.
Not bad for a small team up against the might of John Force Racing
In round 2 Wilkerson beat John Force

(L) John Force (Castrol GTX Mustang) (0.042) 4.405 @ 249.16mph
Force gets out of the gate first and starts to pull away. He extends his lead to the 330 foot mark, then loses traction and starts hazing the tyres. Thats all Wilkerson needed, he pulls even at half-track, then pulls away for the win.
In round 3 Wilkerson took out Robert Hight
(W) Tim Wilkerson (Levi, Ray & Shoup Impala) (0.084) 4.168 @ 297.94mph
(L) Robert Hight (AAA of So. Cal Mustang) (0.079) 4.208 @ 287.23mph
Hight can't do it, he starts to pull away but started putting out raw fuel before he reached half-track.
Tim Wilkerson's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.003), 330 ft(-0.008), 660ft(0.009). MOV: 0.0354 seconds (approximately 15 feet).

(L) Jason Line (Summit Racing Equipment GXP) (0.039) 16.481 @ 48.20mph
Line with problems with the burnout and they pushed him back to the water and he did his burnout. Line is 9 - 4 against Edwards in prior events and Edwards is 1 - 0 against Line in prior final rounds. Line with the starting line advantage and then had violent shake and made a quick move toward the centerline before he pushed the clutch in.
