I actually thought Hamilton may have won that one before he got nerfed.

I felt he was looking quite good up until that point as well.

Usual 'local' commentary team put the usual spin on it moving the blame away from Hamilton as expected. ;)

Some of those overhead shots really show some of the elevation changes more than before, and at the same time make places like Eau Rouge look rather gentle and tame... at least until we watched the Alonso vs Webber battle through there... what a move that was.

Yeah, another great race, you can see why Rupert is circling, interesting to non-Motorsport fans as well.
Another bad start & strategy for Mark but sensational pace when all the stars align, fingers crossed for next season.

I much prefer watching real speed circuit racing on a track like this rather than one of Tilke's sanitised Hot WheelsTM tracks. Much more interesting to look at and great in-car stuff.

Yes the parochialism is getting a little tedious .....That pass by Webber around Alonso drew a very sharp intake of breath at the time but was saved by the awareness and respect of both drivers involved.
Compare that to lewis  "I didn't give Kobayashi enough room though I thought I was past," Hamilton

Oh well he apologised so it is all good
He is pretty good at not being aware of those around him...Webber,Kobayashi and Button to name a few and he gains an advantage by it....drivers are not game to take him on when he either dives in or they wish to pass him! They simply do not trust him
Does anyone think Webber would have tried that move on Lewis last night?
If Alonso had done to Lewis what Lewis had done to any driver mentioned above DC and Brundle would have gone nuts
Starting to lose alot of respect for Lewis and amazingly Brundle and DC after trying the excuses on last night....I think the rest of the media were not so blinded and thus Lewis apologizing (again) today
And No Lewis it aint cause you black!

LH is certainly spicing up the races with his "don't care" attitude.
MB & DC are making too many errors in their commentary, the team cars are hard to ID with the small nos. & similar helmets but they are getting it wrong way too often. They were also getting the tyres wrong on the W/end,a couple of times right after they put the option on in a stop.

Not quite the sort of spicing up that we all really want to see all the time though. :)

Yes, the cars are hard to identify with the small numbers, but they've been small numbers for years now, albeit for a short time quite large by comparison a couple of years ago.

Trackside we had to id the cars by the drivers helmets, but the last couple of years the easiest way was to id the team first, then look for the camera colour on top of the roll hoop.

But you're right though, they do all the GP's and they're seeing all the camera shots to recognise who is who. However, it may in part be to do the size of the monitor they are watching, in many cases smaller than a laptop screen in some cases.
