Here's a few dates for the diary just to get things rolling:

McLaren MP4-27 on February 1st

Sauber C31 on February 6th

Word must have come through in the last day or so:

Ferrari will launch their 2012 car, chassis name yet unknown, on February 3rd.

Awesome lets hope they and Ford don't have a problem like they did at the start of this year...but still F150...that was pretty silly.

Ferrari are saying it's a completely revised car after having a very average season in 2011. Let's hope the teams can take the fight to RBR in 2012.

Mercedes will be late this year (apparently). May be doing a "Newey" from 2009 (?) ... or might have just cocked up the early design and had Mr Willis want a bit of a redesign. Ferrari certainly sound like they're pretty keen (well more that normal) to take the fight to RBR and McLaren. Interesting to read fatty saying that the fez would improve 2x what RBR will improve by ...... does he know something nobody else knows.....

The only reason a lot of people are saying Ferrari are going to be on a completely different performance level next year is because they were pretty much out of the Championship hunt in May and stopped putting on new parts in July so they have had a lot of time to plan for this car. Very similar to what they did in the 2009 off season and as you say like what newey did in the 2008/09 off season...let's hope it works.

Ferrari 3 February location: TBC

I think Ferrari will be in Fiorano I'm almost sure of it, that's where it was at the start of this year I think.

i saw a top down pic of the caterham somewhere, cant remember where, but it reminds me of a saw fish. I guess with the regulations being the way they are this year, we will probably see a few ugly front ends.

If you ask me all the Formula 1 Cars have been ugly since the regulation changes in 2009. Speaking of the Caterham though Mike Gascoyne believe it will be a Top 15 car and able to stamp it's authority on certain tracks this year.

Sorry the Pictures are so small but the car looks quite good if I'm honest.

Yeah,tend to agree,looks OK in the photo's but it may be different in the flesh when compared to the rest of the grid.
