In my opinion allowing the teams to change tyres on the track for the restart destroyed the race. (O.k. I suppose safety issues could have been a concern).
If they are allowing that they probably should just hand the race to whoever was in first position when the red flag dropped because, at a track like Monaco, that is effectively what this rule does. Whoever was leading should have just been declared the winner at that stage.
A waste of time for the fans and I'm not sure why FOM's "broadcast commitments" didn't get in the way of the restart anyway.
Lucky for some..........
Hamilton is really in the poo's at the moment.

Hamilton apologised to stewards for outburst
Sunday 29th May 2011
McLaren team principal Martin Whitmarsh says Lewis Hamilton chose to visit the stewards after the race to explain his 'Ali G' remark, which Whitmarsh described as a 'poor joke'.
In an interview with the BBC, Hamilton accused the FIA stewards of being racist towards him, as he's been called before them on a number of occasions this season.
"I've been to the stewards, out of six races, five times. It's a joke, a fricken joke," he said, adding: "Maybe it's because I'm black... that's what Ali G says."
Whitmarsh revealed that he later returned to explain himself, adding that the explanation was accepted and he won't face any sanction.
"Immediately after the race he was very down, and during a post-race TV interview he made a poor joke about his penalties that referenced Ali G.
"However, I’m pleased to say that he chose to return to the track a little while later to speak to the stewards about the joke. They accepted his explanation."
Hamilton was handed two penalties for his hand in two accidents on Sunday, but managed to keep his sixth place following the second.
Um Hammers; as far as I know the comedian who plays Ali G ain't even coloured. A bit of a PR disaster there mate..........
