About Australian Motorsport Forums.
Australian Motorsport Forums (AMF), is a fan based motorsport forum, dedicated to the serious motorsport follower. It is run by fans, for the fans and does not have its own agenda to push.
AMF was created in March 2007 by “Millsie” who hastily setup a forum for all disillusioned former users of Network 10’s RPM Pitboard Forums, when it was abruptly closed by 10. Network 10 tried to move its Pitboard forum members over to its homepage forum along with other forums such as, “The Pussy Cat Dolls”, “Big Brother”, “Video Hits” and other teenage related forums. Of course this didn’t go down very well with dedicated motorsport fans.
Tired of being treated like second class viewers by a TV Network that didn’t seem to care, Millsie created our very own home for us, it was well received by all, and in a matter of days had a substantial membership, thanks to the exodus from Network 10’s forum.
Since then AMF has grown beyond belief with many knowledgable members and motorsport fans.
Due to the unexpected growth and popularity of AMF, a new site was created with our own domain name and ownership by 'bpratt', with forum content owned by the forum members, which we didn’t have on the previous Invision Forum.
The new site has been well received and continues to grow with new members and content.
Our aim is to provide an open forum where all topics can be debated in a mature manner with out the need for censorship.
