Race Preview

After a one-year absence, the IZOD IndyCar Series returns to The Milwaukee Mile. Scott Dixon won the 2009 race, holding off pole sitter Ryan Briscoe. Dario Franchitti finished third and Graham Rahal was fourth.

The one-mile oval drives more like a road course because of the flat corners, which produces exciting racing. Drivers can't go flat out on the course, which creates overtaking opportunities in the turns as well as the straights.

The Mile opened in 1903 and little has changed to the configuration.

Previous Race Winners
Scott Dixon   2009
Ryan Briscoe   2008
Tony Kanaan   2007
Tony Kanaan   2006
Sam Hornish Jr.   2005
Dario Franchitti   2004

Sunday 19th

14:30 Race (225 laps)

SPEED broadcast time in AEST is Live at 06:30 on Monday 20th with a full replay that night at 20:00.

I have a feeling that this mite clash with the live Sprint Cup race as the telecast only goes for an hour and a half, so you mite be better off watching the full 2 hour reply later that night.

Current time and weather in Milwaukee is HERE 15 hrs behind AEST

You'll be able to push the red button and swap to the Indy car race.

Whenever the races clash Speed use viewers choice so you can watch either. They did it recently when the tennis and cricket were on at the same time.

The thing for fussy people like me is that the second program is not in HD and you obviously can't record both of them.

Great race for will to go from a starting position of 17th and finish 4th. He started off a bit slow but the car and the team proformed bloody great.
Dario finished 1st so they are both on the top of the champship points table..
