Sarrazin is a bit of an all rounder.... from WRC (Subaru IIRC and got a podium) About the time Atko was starting out.  Sarrazin was also a race winner in F3000 and WSR, got to F1, as a tester for a few years, but did start the odd GP as a third driver.  He then also drove Le Mans Sportscars (think he has an outright podium plus a Pole Position there as well), plus won the Le Mans Series and now back to Rallying again.

I would expect to see him running near the top throughout given his talents, in what is obviously a weak entry with no WRC status attracting none of the big names.  I see Ogier is in there, and he is the main man I think in the Citroen WRC wannabees (Junior Programme Atko has just signed up for post Subaru's exit) having run a couple of WRC events (he actually led for the first few stages in GB before Xmas).

Would Love to see Didier Auriol do well.

From my knowledge he was apart of the Subaru team alongside Atkinson in the first year Atko got a contract with them. I think the deal was he drove the tarmac rallies, while Atko did the gravel. As for Enduro racing, I think he had a spot with Pescarolo, and recently has been in a Peugeot seat along with the other past and present F1 drivers Peugeot seem to favour.

Plus Sarrazin drove an Aston Martin DBR9 in the GT1 class of the 2006 American Le Mans Series.....

His last featured in F1 in 2004 AFAIK, but know he did the Monte in 2006 with Subaru

Hmmmm.... so much for the big rap I gave Sarrazin..... throws it into the scenery and loses five minutes.   Mind you, without the 'almost five minutes lost' he would have been clear leader by a minute plus on the timings at end day.   Plus clearly no problems with the car, as he was able to set stage fastest post his incident.  Ogier seems one destined to become a household name given his age and results to date, and his performance on the Monte SO FAR ( :crossed:) as a rookie is impressive.
