WRC Rally de Catalanya *SPOILERS*
« on: October 03, 2009, 10:57:30 am »
After day 1 and SS6 the rally is being lead by Dani Sordo about 1 sec clear of Seb Loeb in their Citroens. Looks like the ideal team performance to keep the championship hopes of Le Seb on track.
Current championship leader Mirko Hirvonen is about 18 secs adrift with Petter Solberg in fourth.

Just 3 stages to go and Loeb is comfortably positioned in the lead ahead of Citroen team mate Sordo, then Hirvonen.
If that is the final result it will mean going to the UK rally with scores for the championship about even, and it all to play for between Loeb and Hirvonen. Espagna, on tarmac, was always expected to be a great rally for Citroen, and that seems to be how it is turning out. Petter Solberg and Ogier are batling for fourth in their Citroens.
The UK Rally (Wales) is a mud and gravel and should make the Fords more competitive.
Oh for some Subarus to add a little variety, or maybe Kimi in an Arbath?
