Hey, I don't know if any of you have iRacing, or if you've heard of it, but I'm going to be getting iRacing soon, and I just wanted to know who had it, if anyone did, if anyone knew how to paint the cars, and my biggest dumb question, if I could get some pointers. I just got my steering wheel and pedals today, I know I should have a mic, I have to unpack it from wherever it is though. (I'm transferring colleges so I packed everything away).

I Have IRacing...

I Got a 2 year deal in Janaury...

You have some great fun!!! , but have not played it in about 2 months...

But here is a video from a race I did last year at Texas in the Nationwide..

Depends what wheel you have,

G25? or G27? If you have a G25 I can give some settings from my wheel if you like

I though you did, and I have the Driving Force GT wheel, and right now I'm probably going to stick with the basic package until I get used to iRacing

I now, officially have iRacing, and a headset with a mic. I still only have the basic package though for 3 months. So...that's about it,

I competed in my 1st iRacing event in a Legend car today at Lanier National Speedway. I started 6th and finished 8th out of 12, and 5 laps down.

A Pretty good result shame that you where 5 laps down...

But good result over all for your 1st IRacing race!

Well, I was just trying to survive, I had maybe an hour of practice at Lanier, and I was about 6 tenths off the pace, so i was just rim riding, allowing the leaders to get by easily, unlike another driver that was 8 laps down and crashed 3 of the leaders. I'm racing more for respect right now than to try to win, until I feel that I can win

I've run 3 more races since my 8th place finish yesterday, I got an 11th and many laps down (got caught up in wrecks not of my making), 7th and 2 laps down (I was able to avoid wrecks), and 8th and 5 laps down (I was able to avoid the wreck fest until 5 laps to go when someone spun in front of me).

Thanks, I've gotten 2 more top 5s since I posted this, but man, South Boston Speedway has been rough

I'm no longer a rookie, I've moved up to the Class D rating, Woo!

I've also gotten 4 poles and I've been able to lead 10 laps, still looking for that elusive 1st win though

Before the Daytona 500 in February on IRacing I had Class A 4.99 ,

Than after the Daytona 500 with the amount of ranks I lost due to the big one it went down to Class A 3.43 ...

!!

That race sucked only lasted 10laps This was in the Sprint Cup Series car...

Well, we all have those bad days, I got pinched down in a race last night, bounced of the inside wall, and back up the track, 5 cars went with me....

Well, I got off to a good start this season, 2 poles, 1 2nd place start, a 3rd place finish, a WIN, and a 9th place finish, and 40 laps led.

Is there a way of reporting other drivers? I just ran a race in the Legend cars, and this guy was being held up by the 8 car, I'm in the 6 car, the guy wrecked, and I couldn't avoid him, coming off of pit road, he tries to wreck me, and going into turn 4, he takes me out, and several other cars, all the while screaming on the mic that it was payback #8.

There is you have to send the replay to the IRacing Staff and report why..

I have never done it before my self but that's what I have heard..
