CooTha Classic - 29 & 30 May 2010
It's been 94 years since a team of motor enthusiasts first climbed the hills of Mount Coot-tha. This May 29th and 30th, the Cootha Classic welcomes over 600 vehicles - including historic cars and motorcycles, modern and prestige cars, karts, race and rally cars, as well as speedway vehicles to take part in timed competition, hill climbs, demonstrations and static displays! Visitors can see a variety of historic race and recreational vehicles from around the world, including Jaguar, Lotus and Porsche.
The Historic Racing Car Club of Queensland once again are running the event, and should be bigger than last year.
I'll be there, so feel free to drop by a flag point and ask where I am. I think they're going to try and keep people in the same locations or nearby as they were last year, so it looks like I'll be up near the top of the circuit.
