Not wrong there, it comes up so quickly at times.

Will it be another Triple 8 win, or will one of the Ford's finally come through for a win.... I'm guessing if it a Ford, it might just be a DJR one... that's of course if van Gisbergen doesn't come up with the goods.

Practice 3 was Canceled due to either lack of wet weather tires or the fog from website sources...

Um, yeah; rain. I wonder how the weather will be over the weekend because it's pretty poor up here today.

Couldn't believe part of the reason was that there was a lack of wets for the whole field.

Apparently some of the teams had stacks, and others bugger all. Obviously all those at the pointy end of the field had a stockpile, and the tail end had limited stocks.

Top Ten should be interesting in the arvo.

Grant Denyer has been removed from the track.... the Mountain is now a much safer place to race.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

Broadcast commentary: If you stack this commentary up against other motorsport broadcasts, or against other sports broadcasts generally, the quality is appalling. That last round of pit-stops is a case in point.

Did anyone else notice Murphy pass van Gisbergen going up Mountain Straight after the SC boards went out ?

I was fairly sure on the TV shots that van Gis was ahead of Murphy as they went over the hump in Mountain Straight, then at turn 2 Murphy's back in front of him ?

Dunno, but mattytroll white flippantly said that a marshall "fell over", as if it was just like a girl breaking a finger nail.

I can only assume the marshall did more than just broke a finger nail.

If television broadcasters were forced to pay for the oxygen their commentators used during a race White would be out of a job on the basis of a cost/benefit analysis.
