Interesting Fact:   Over its 12 year history the Clipsal 500 Adelaide has attracted 2 million, 259 thousand 800 patrons. The average attendance at the Clipsal 500 Adelaide over the period it has been held as a four day event is the equivalent to filling AAMI Stadium to capacity five times or the equivalent to filling the MCG to capacity more than two and a half times.

I have a good mate (Mike O'Donnell) racing in the Formula Fords and he has told me its not being televised till 3 weeks after the event! :Thumbsdown:

They should have it on the V8SC web site, but you will have to register before hand..

It still makes we wonder why the v8 supercar guys put the Clipsal 500 on the very weekend before the AGP, when they are supposed to be having some fair dinkum races there.

Adelaide's concrete blocks have a take no prisoners attitude to cars, so chances are we're likely to see some of last seasons cars running at the AGP.

Back in the old days, there were TWO radios in the SC, one for the SC Observer and one for the driver. Seems likely that there is now just one radio only in them. :(


I don't know if it was just me, but I thought that particular SC period, the SC was travelling slower than normal ?


Nice to see Jason Richards got a drive in the supports, and from what I heard won both the races he was in.  :Clap:

I thought that was a pretty good race long duel between Garth and Jamie. Both drivers drove hard without crashing into each other and made for some compelling viewing. And well done to Jason Richards for the amazing victory! :)
